CONTEST RULES

1. PARTICIPATION

To enter the LaBaieVitree.com contest, participants must visit the “Vitrine commerciale de la Baie-des-Chaleurs” website at www.LaBaieVitree.com and fill out an entry form by entering their names, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers.

There are two ways to enter the contest:

1. Play the questionnaire game.
2. Enter the validation code obtained at a participating business.

Two entries per person per week will be accepted. Any individual entering more than twice per week will be disqualified automatically. To be valid, all entry forms must be received by e-mail before 2:00 p.m. (EST) on December 22, 2009. The chances of winning a prize depend on the number of entries received.

2. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Participants must reside in Baie-des-Chaleurs (within the territories of the Regional County Municipalities of Bonaventure and Avignon). Directors, officers and employees of the SADC de Baie-des-Chaleurs (Baie-des-Chaleurs Community Futures Development Corporation), owners of affiliated businesses, and individuals living in the same households of such persons are not eligible to enter this contest.

3. AWARDING OF PRIZES

At approximately 3:00 p.m. on December 22, a random draw from among all entries received will take place at the SADC offices. The first four (4) entries drawn will be declared as winners, provided that they fulfill all conditions described in these rules.
Winners will be contacted by phone or e-mail within seven (7) days following the draw and must claim their prizes according to SADC instructions within 30 days following the date on which they were first contacted. If a prize remains unclaimed after this period or should a participant remain unreachable for seven (7) days following the draw, a new draw will take place.

4. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZES

Winners will be awarded prizes as follows:

1st prize: one Baie-des-Chaleurs* gift certificate worth $500
2nd prize: one Baie-des-Chaleurs* gift certificate worth $250
3rd prize: one Baie-des-Chaleurs* gift certificate worth $150
4th prize: one Baie-des-Chaleurs* gift certificate worth $100

* Redeemable at any participating Baie Vitrée business

5. GENERAL RULES

5.1 To be declared winners, participants whose names are drawn must first correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question.
5.2 Winners must agree to allow their names to be used, free of charge, for advertising purposes related to this contest.
5.3 Winners must sign a document attesting to their eligibility as specified in paragraph 2 above, and releasing the SADC from any and all responsibility with respect to damage or loss resulting from participation in this contest or from the awarding, acceptance or use of a prize.
5.4 Prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be exchanged for cash, sold or transferred. No substitutions will be granted.
5.5 Winners’ names will be posted for 30 days on the contest page of www.LaBaieVitree.com , preceded by the wording, “Congratulations to our winners!”
5.6 Disputes regarding the organization or operation of a promotional contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses, et des jeux for resolution. Disputes regarding the awarding of prizes may be submitted to the Régie strictly for purposes of taking action in an attempt to resolve them.
